When the lights go up, Megan Marie Thiel brings the stage to life. Megan grew up in beautiful, sunny, Los Angeles, California spending all of her time studying the art of dance since the age of 3. She has studied styles ranging from classical ballet to hip hop to just about about everything in between. Megan started out her dance journey at her local parks and recreation from the ages 3-6 before taking her training to the next level and enrolling in classes at Encore Dance Centre in San Dimas, CA. After she graduated from high school, Megan made the decision to continue her dance training by attending The American Musical and Dramatic Academy College and Conservatory Of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre. While at AMDA, Megan had the wonderful opportunity to train under some of L.A.’s finest choreographers, directors, and teachers, including Tracy Silver, Nancy Dobbs Owen, Kyle McHargh, Jason Gorman, Genevieve Carson, and many more. Megan was also given the chance to study at AMDA’s New York campus where she again got to train under some of the best choreographers, directors, and teachers New York has to offer. After graduating in 2018 with her BFA and spending a year working in the industry, Megan Marie made the final decision to continue her dance training once more in January of 2019 but this time as an Apprentice at The Performing Arts Center in Van Nuys. While at The P.A.C. Megan was given the amazing opportunity to train under the brilliant direction of Joseph Malone and his amazing faculty including Michelle Elkin, Jillian Schmitz, Irene Large, Nancy Dobbs Owen, Terri Yates, and Lindsey Lorenz. Megan concluded her apprenticeship in March of 2020 and was signed to Go 2 Talent Agency in May 2021. Her most recent jobs have been filming an episode of Elkhorn which will be premiering April 11th 2024 on INSP, performing frequently with Babylon Cabaret Burlesque Show, and Bubblegum Presents shows. Megan has dedicated a lifetime of passion, raw talent, and hard work to her art and she hopes to continue performing and creating more in the future.
